You may find that you want to re-order the elements on a specific slide, and control what appears on top or behind other elements when viewed.

In our latest update, you can re-order elements right from the list of elements on the Slide Properties tab based on how you want the elements to be seen.

To Re-order Elements in a Slide:

  • Open the presentation you want to edit in the CustomShow editor and select the specific slide you want to edit.
  • In the left properties panel, under Slide, expand the bottom tab Slide Elements.
  • Here you can simply drag the element number before or after another element number and it get re-ordered accordingly.
  • If you click Preview or Full Screen, you will now see the same slide with a new order of elements appearing.

Re-ordering elements from the Slide Elements List can be particularly useful on complicated slides with lots of overlapping elements or multiple background elements that you need to manipulate.
